BIO

Linda D’Agostino is an artist from Wangaratta in Victoria’s North East. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of mediums and techniques including ink and pen, acrylics, water colour, and collage.

 Linda is one of the 12 resident artists of Art Gallery on Ovens which is a community gallery supporting local artists while offering a contemporary art experience. The gallery is located in the heart of Wangaratta, a regional city in North East Victoria on the edge of Victoria's High Country.

 Linda enjoys entering and supporting local art shows and has in the past been the Co-Ordinator of the      

St Bernard’s Primary school Art and Photography Show for  4 years, between 2016 and 2019.

Linda enjoys challenging herself by painting & drawing a variety of subjects that she has been inspired by at the time. Often painting or drawing landscapes but also illustration style art works. Whimsical and naïve themes are mostly what appears.

Recently Linda held a ladies art class with 11 other women encouraging and sharing her knowledge of the mediums she loves to work with.

Linda has also been commissioned to paint new paintings for clients wanting something in her style, portraits of family homes, new born wall art and special family pieces for the home.

Artist In Residence

2017: Appin Park Primary School, teaching water colour basics to the Grade 5/6 students over a period of 4 weeks.

Art Classes

2017: Weekly art classes with children aged between 7 and 12, teaching them all sorts of art and craft.

2018: 8 weeks.Held a ladies art class with 11 other women encouraging and sharing her knowledge of the mediums she loves to work with.
